It’s not often that we have a site with a view stretching from the Golden Gate to Gilroy. The existing 1954 residence was surrounded by shrubs which obscured much of the view. We opened up the site to create a motor court entry and classical façade. The owner wanted an unobstructed rear view so floor to ceiling glass overlooks the infinity edge pool. The pool house was buried below grade keeping the view clear to the valley below.
